How I use the DAF

I use different pickups for different ensembles. My DAFs are in the neck and bridge of a semi hollow Ibanez AS 73. I use them (and the Smoothy) when I play with woodwinds. Primarily Clarinet and flute. And when I accompany a Grand piano. They are extremely clear and complement the tone of the other instruments. It's easy to fit in the mix without "Getting in your face". But they will if you want them to.

It just sounds right

Popped these into my 1995 Epiphone Sheraton it was like they breathed new life into this guitar. The clarity and articulation can not be overstated and it just sounds so good. I don’t have a better way to describe but I will say I just love the way it sounds and look forward to playing it now.
