We took everything that makes our Strat pickups sound right—and wrapped it in a completely new visual format.
Each pickup in our Custom Top Strat Series features a precision-cut acrylic top, paired with a chrome surround for a clean, high-end look that still feels at home on a classic Strat.

This is the same pickup architecture we’ve always used—nothing changed sonically. The difference is purely aesthetic, and intentionally so.

The Custom Top Series is available across our full Strat pickup lineup:

• Classic 5 – Traditional, balanced, and unmistakably Strat

• Hot 5 – More output and push without losing clarity

• Bonneville – Full, bold, and authoritative with a wide dynamic range

• HWY 99 – Thick, punchy, and unapologetically aggressive

Available Acrylic Top Colors

Choose from five custom acrylic finishes:

• Tortoise (Tort) – Classic, warm, and unmistakably vintage-inspired

• Chrome Pearl – Bright, reflective, and modern

• Bourbon Pearl – Deep amber tones with subtle movement

• Black Pearl – Dark, elegant, and aggressive without being flashy

• Clear – Minimalist, transparent, and architectural

Each top is paired with a chrome surround, giving the pickup a finished, intentional look from every angle.

We did not change the winding, magnets, or voicing to accommodate the look.

Why Acrylic Tops?

We wanted a way to offer visual customization without compromising tone or turning pickups into novelty items.

The acrylic top:

• Does not affect magnetic field behavior

• Does not alter inductance or response

• Does not add microphonics

It simply gives you a way to match—or intentionally contrast—your guitar’s aesthetic.
