Coil Split With No Volume Drop!
This one is very cool. Specially wound for mid range punch, this one will cut through a mix without being harsh. The coils are wound to different specs, but in such a way that they are still dead quiet. The slug side is 5.9k and perfect for coil splitting. At 9.8K total, these pickups are still extremely clear because of their special wind. They take gain very well, but still know how to clean up when they are asked.

A Christmas gift for my son. He is very happy with their sound and clarity!
First thing to understand is that these pickups will not sound like a strat or tele single coil, but they will give you a usable split coil sound.
There isn’t that much of a volume drop but because of the change in EQ from humbucker mode you do still feel some volume change. However the pickup will still be punchy and nice not like other splits that feel weak and are almost unusable.
The full humbucker mode is awesome as well, very touch responsive and defined even playing downtuned and with high gain.
Both when humbucking and with split coils, the clarity and the dynamic range of these pickups are just amazing. They really capture the tiniest details of your playing -- including those minor picking errors and inaccuracies that you never knew you had because dull stock pickups drowned them in the noise... Which is humbling TBH, but in the end, Dylan's pickups also help me become a better guitar player.
Bought these for my PRS Mira SE. It took me a while to get them dialed in but once I found their sweet spot I couldn't be happier. Amazingly clean sound compared to the cheap humbuckers I've always been accustomed to. The coil split has some volume drop still but they sound fantastic. No regrets, I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.
