Wanted some PUPs with a 60s vibe to put into a tele that is essentially being made from a player series into a 60s spec (as close as can reasonably be expected, anyway). These pups definitely bring a vintage tone to the tele-twang (certainly more than the stock did), and I have noticed are more subtle and quiet than the modern pups, which also kinda works for the vintage thing (time to crank the amp and/or run a TS). Final comment - the build quality is apparent, you know they are an artisan product and the rifle filigree in the neck pickup is well done, subtle, and just plain cool.
Definite improvement over stock pick ups for a standard Telecaster. Much brighter and fuller tones after the upgrade.

Outstanding. I have two guitars loaded so far. Good solid big tone and no ice picks. No noise or hum either. I have a drawer full of name brand pups I can sell. Also, Dylan is a stand up guy and we unknotted a shipping snafu to our satisfaction. Highly recommend.
