These pickups are a fantastic throw back to the early JM style. They are the proper coil height and wind count to duplicate that bright JM tone. The alinco 5 Magnets mixed with The wire we have chosen give these a bite when wide open, and sweeten as you lower the volume.

After having great success with other DTT pickups, I decided to try these on my AVII Jazzmaster. These pickups sound very close to the vintage reproduction in the AVII, but the definition is just a little better. I appreciate how close these pickups are to the Vintage sound but offering just a little better mids and a little less mud. Highly recommended - you won’t be disappointed.
I got a pair of these and the last lipstick pickup Dylan ever made to go on my Marauder (body at least) replica. They're easily the best pickups I have - even better than the Fender Cunifes on my MIJ Jazzmaster.
