Some time ago, I purchased a Squier Sonic Strat HT H with the purpose of upgrading it.
I reached out to Dylan asking for a suggestion on what pickup would match that guitar the best and he suggested the Super 8.
I was actually more impressed than I anticipated to be with the result. The Super 8 has literally transformed the humble Squier into a loud, yet incredibly dynamic, balanced, and articulating machine with any tone, from crystal clean to ridiculously distorted. If anything, I probably need to tighten up my playing, because now any small mistake sounds true.
I have previously left a review for the DAF pickups and this set hits the mark the same, great range with no screeching highs or muddy lows and they sound phenomenal. The Damascus steel finish on the covers is a real nice touch and it picks up the color of the guitar body. Extremely happy.
