Love the pickups!

The T-Style upgrade kit was just what the doctor ordered! My Butterscotch Squire Affinity Tele plays like a dream, but had a super-microphonic pickup in the neck position and a lackluster pickup at the bridge. And why not replace the electronics while we’re at it.

After watching a lot of video and learning and understanding Dylan’s approach to engineering, sound, and manufacturing process, I was impressed enough to make the leap and spend more on pickups than the guitar cost new. What a return on investment! Through my direct recording rig and one live outdoor show these sound fantastic. And I still have some physical tweaking to do.

I did have to do a little enlarging of holes on the control plate, but simple enough with a step drill bit, but simple enough with 5 minutes on the bench.

Thank you Dylan and company for a great product and ordering experience! All the detailed shipping, in transit, and delivery updates was a nice bonus as well. Keep up the good work!

These hand made pickups went into my hand built Texas Toast guitar and they sound awesome!! The personal touch, the best components, how neat and tidy all the wiring is done, everything is just top notch. And they look super cool too with Dylans name engraved on them. Way more than 5 stars.

The best upgrade to my Am Pro II

I ordered this as my second upgrade and it made me literally fall in love with my American Pro II telecaster. The installed VMod pickups are literally dull and boring compared to the flat 6. I was not loving my telecaster and these pickups gave me a new perspective with my guitar. It now sounds like a tele should sound like IMO. The quality and attention of handmade pickups is amazing:

Great set for amateur guitar builders/modders who want their Tele to sound like it should sound. Really liked how it improved the performance of a Squier CV. Going to switch it over into a MIM soon.
