CTS Push Pull DPDT Pot

Add a switch to your guitar using the existing holes in your pick guard or body. High quality CTS Push/Pull DPDT switches can be used to add phase switching, coil tapping, series/parallel, etc. to your guitar without having to drill the holes for a mini switch. The shorter body height and side mounted contacts require far less space (1” depth ) making them ideal for thinner bodied guitars with a more shallow body cavity. These Split-shaft pots are compatible with 24- spline, fine knurled knobs and feature a precise audio taper. Hex nuts, flat washer, and lock washer are included with each pot. CTS DPDT pots are available in three types for different applications.

Exactly What I Needed

This push/pull pot was priced competitively and works perfectly. I purchased this for a jazz bass where I had had the single coils swapped out years ago (by a tech) for DiMarzio Ultra Jazz humbuckers. It had always sounded too dark for me, so when I took the plate off and realized the pots were all 250K I knew I needed to switch to 500K to bring out more highs. I chose this push/pull pot after discovering I could use it to switch between running the pickups in series and parallel without having to route out the control cavity for an additional switch to accomplish this. If you own a jazz bass this is an easy "sleeper" mod you can do to give your bass more versatility while keeping the stock looks of the instrument. I would 100% buy from Dylan Talks Tone again.

Dylan also gave me the confidence to do my own soldering after watching some of his youtube videos. Best videos on soldering for guitars on Youtube in my opinion. Check those out if you haven't already.

I ordered 250K PUSH PUL POT AND YOU SENT A 500K PUSH PULL POT

Those Push pulls are only availble from us in 500k. I didn't see any notes on the order requesting 250s. If I had, I would have reached out and offered a refund for that part. If it has not been installed, I would be happy to issue a return RMA and a refund on that part. Just let me know and I'll get it handled.
