Using Alnico 5 rod magnets instead of steel slugs and a bar magnet, Velo captures the fast attack, open top end, and piano-like low string response that players love about vintage Wide Range pickups… but with a tighter, more modern feel that drops into any humbucker-equipped guitar.

Wound to 8k, this pickup sits right in the musical sweet spot: bold but not bloated, articulate without being harsh, and dynamic enough to clean up beautifully with your volume knob. WHAT IT SOUNDS LIKE

Bridge:
Punchy mids, extended top end, and a tighter low end than a PAF. Harmonics pop and chords stay clear even with gain.

Neck:
Open and articulate without the mud. More clarity than a traditional humbucker but still warm enough for blues, worship, clean funk, or edge-of-breakup tones.

Coil Split:
More usable than most split humbuckers thanks to the rod magnet design — brighter and more single-coil-like.
