I really Like these jacks. Do they make MORE TONE? Not really, but your cable won't fall out. With 4 fingers grabbing the cable, these things are amazing. Available In Nickel at this time.

The Pure Tone jack's patented design provides a firm reliable connection and improved electrical conductivity compared to standard ¼" jacks. These jacks features two spring contacts per pole which doubles the surface area of the connections and holds the instrument cable firmly in place. This superior design also increases the current capacity/rating of ¼" jack connections
